ArmorCoat Concrete Solutions is built on a foundation of dedication, experience, and a commitment to empowering entrepreneurs. At the heart of our family-owned business are Michael Menke and Rick Mauro.
Michael Menke, a proud Navy veteran, brings a strong educational background to the team, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s Degree (MSM) from Troy University. His military service instilled in him the core values of discipline, integrity, and unwavering attention to detail – principles that are now the bedrock of ArmorCoat.
Rick Mauro is a distinguished Army veteran who also served his community as a veteran of the Pensacola Police Department and the Escambia County Fire Department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Like Michael, his service experiences have deeply ingrained the values of discipline and integrity into his approach.
Supporting the leadership team are their spouses. Dawn Menke, Michael’s wife, is in charge of ArmorCoat Operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the business. Julia Mauro, Rick’s wife, holds a master’s degree from the University of West Florida (UWF) and manages the company’s accounting.
With multiple years of hands-on expertise in the concrete coating industry, combined with over three decades of collective small business experience, Michael and Rick have a profound understanding of what it takes to succeed. They’ve channeled this knowledge, alongside the operational and financial expertise of Dawn and Julia, into creating a robust support system for aspiring business owners.
